Select Fashion

I absolutely love this shop called Select at the moment! It's not a very well known shop, but if you live in a well known city in the U.K you should have one! If not you can always order anything you like online! But basically, they sell so many amazing products and they're ridiculously cheap in my opinion! The products are also great quality. So again, like my last post I will be showing a few of my favourite items from Select! Would just like to say they do sell great midi dresses and skirts but I won't be featuring any of them, so I will leave a link to the website at the bottom for you to view their other products.

Blue Jersey Vest Maxi Dress- £12

I just decided to scroll through all of Select's clothing and this plain maxi dress really caught my eye. I think it's the colour, as I absolutely love cobalt blue! For any brunette it is definitely a colour that would suit you! I know that it's plain but I really love the simplicity of the dress and I also love the brown plait belt which is included, as it breaks up the blue. I can see its also available other colours such as black and pink.

Wide Striped Skinny Jeans- £10

No, I didn't make a mistake, they really are £10! I am in love with these blue and white striped skinny jeans! I am a huge fan of nautical so whenever I see anything, I usually fall in love with it straight away! I think the wide stripes are great as you can really notice the pattern. I think these are great if you've had enough of plain jeans but don't want to look too over the top! Also, as they are jeans the strips won't stretch and look horrible unlike striped leggings. If you love these jeans I think you'd better snap them up fast as they're in the sale but still available in all sizes at the moment! (16th June).

Mesh Insert Bandeau Swimsuit- £12

I don't really like swimsuits but this one is definitely an exception! If the mesh insert was replaced by black material it'd look like any old swimsuit. But because of the mesh insert if gives the swimsuit a sexy edge without showing off your stomach. Be quick though if you love this as its only available in a size 8 and 10!

These next 3 products I am going to feature (which will be on my next post, as for some reason I can't add them onto here) are products
I've purchased very recently from Select and absolutely love but are no longer on the website!:( So if you have a Select near you,
then they should have them in store! If they do come back online I will add the links for them!

New Look Midi Dresses

Personally, I am not a huge fan of midi dresses, just because they don't suit me! I am the sort of person that needs the dress to be either short or maxi! But this post is for all of those people out there that love midi dresses. In my opinion, New Look is the best well known shop that sells midi dresses, so I've picked out a few of my favourites for you guys!

Coral Cap Sleeve Bodycon Midi Dress- £12.99

I know this is just a plain midi dress but I think it is a wardrobe essential for you midi dress fans! I love the colour coral which is very popular this season for the summer. I feel that you could easily wear this dress in the day, or for those of you lucky enough to go on holiday, around the beach/pool. On the other hand, it could be dressed up with statement jewellery and killer heels for that evening look. The dress is also available in many colour such as blue, navy, burgundy, purple etc.

Cameo Rose Monochrome Aztec Print Midi Dress- £14.99

After a couple more posts on here, you will realise I'm not a huge fan of bright colours! Don't get me wrong, I love them on other people! So this dress is perfect for those of you like me, that want to keep the colours simple, but don't want to be so plain and boring. I love the Aztec Print on the dress and the fact it's monochrome is following all the biggest trends this season! I think the print really makes the dress stand out. Also the vertical pattern should compliment anyone's figure.

Cameo Rose Black Tribal Print Cap Sleeve Midi Dress- £14.99

Again, not a very colourful dress but I'm just drawn to the pattern of it! If midi dresses suited me, this would be the one I'd buy! I don't really know what to say about this dress as there isn't much to talk about! It just sums itself up! I think it would look good on any skin tone if you suit midi dresses. I see this dress as more of an evening option, whereas the previous Cameo Rose dress I could see as being worn day and night.

Blue and White Ombre Aztec Cap Sleeve Midi Dress- £16.99

I really love Aztec Print this season and I think it's very flattering for many people. I especially like this dress because of the blue and white ombré which just gives the dress a hint of colour, yet it's definitely not over the top! Again I see this as more of an evening dress wearing with a leather jacket, killer heels and a splash of red lipstick!

So those are a few of my favourite midi dresses from New Look. If you're a fan of midi dresses you can check out more at: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/dresses/midi-dresses/_/N-9utZ1z141oe?intcam=INT-2013-14-WK8-BAN-ZBck-0021
Also, if you do love midi dresses check out other stores, as there are a great selection out at the moment, I just picked New Look because I feel it's a very popular shop with teenagers and I think it's also very affordable.

I hope you guys liked this post and found it interesting! If you'd like to see more things like this then please comment and let me know. Also, if you have any suggestions about what you'd like me to do, I would really like to know!

Have a great time shopping!

Spring/Summer Catwalk Fashion 2013

I know we all see catwalk pictures and think "When would anyone actually wear this?!" But I do have to say, I love how creative the designers can be and the beautiful creations they come up with! So in my next few posts, I will feature some of my favourite items from the Spring/Summer Catwalk 2013 by some of the most well know designers in the fashion industry. First up is...

Valentino

I absolutely love this dress! Normally, in my opinion, I think lots of black lace can look very Victorian and gothic, especially with this creation with the high neck. But because of the skin tone shade coming through the black lace, and the panel over the chest, it brightens up the dress and gives a more feminine feels to the dress.

This dress, is not a style I would normally like but again Valentino has shown that he can design perfection! The dress reminds me of something you'd see in an classic old fashioned fairy tale book. I love the gold edging around the the dress. And the silver detail around the waist really emphasis a woman's curves. High necks are very in this season and I love that there is a separate panel, which even though is the same colour as the dress, it is plain so the dress doesn't  look over the top with too much pattern.

Ruby red! Well, what more can I say! It's the colour that looks good on every skin tone and catches everyone's attention! I love the lace design of the dress and the motif flowers give the dress that extra piece of detail. I don't feel it's shown off very well here with the models size 0 figure, but I feel with the shape of a real woman wearing this dress, it would definitely be a show stopper!

So those were my top 3 creations from Valentino from the Spring/Summer Catwalk 2013! More designers and creations to come...
